The RGM Strategist will join our Revenue Growth Management Pod, a specialized team focused on helping clients develop and implement strategies to drive sustainable, profitable growth by optimizing pricing, promotions, product assortment, and other levers. By leveraging deep industry expertise, analytics, and data-driven insights, you will help develop and implement RGM strategies that enhance revenue performance and marketing position for clients.
This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for building and iterating quickly, and the ability to work directly with clients to define and implement solutions tailored to their needs. We are looking for someone who will thrive in an agile, pod-based structure, working alongside product managers, solution architects, data architects, design specialists, change experts, and client-facing consultants. This fast-paced environment enables rapid prototyping, testing, and refinement of market offerings to meet evolving client needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advise clients on Revenue Growth Management (RGM) as a strategic business enabler, ensuring it extends beyond software and analytic tools to drive holistic, data-informed decision-making.
Develop revenue growth strategies tailored to each client's market environment, focusing on pricing optimization, promotional effectiveness, and product mix strategies, among others
Leverage data analytics, behavioral insights, and market intelligence to inform RGM strategies.
Support client engagements from discovery through implementation, working cross-functionally to gather requirements, define tailored solutions, and ensure alignment with RGM best practices.
Facilitate client workshops and strategy sessions, capturing key business needs, documenting insights, and translating them into actionable solutions.
Translate complex solution parameters into CGP/retail industry-specific language and context, ensuring clients understand and adopt new processes, technology, and strategies.
Operate with an entrepreneurial mindset, building and scaling innovative solutions within an established consulting firm.
Collaborate with agile pod teams to design and refine market offerings that align with industry trends, regulatory shifts, and evolving client needs in the CPG and retail sectors.
Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on solutions based on real user feedback and evolving business requirements.
Contribute to business development and thought leadership, supporting pre-sales efforts and developing whitepapers, strategic insights, and best practices to position the firm as a leader in RGM strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience in revenue growth management, strategic planning, or a related consulting role, preferably within a reputable consulting firm.
Operating experience in an RGM or commercial excellence role at a CPG or retail company, or at an RGM analytics provider, is preferred.
Experience with analytical approaches to pricing, trade promotion and optimization, price-pack architecture and other RGM analyses
Understanding of emerging technologies and RGM trends.
Ability to synthesize complex industry trends into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making for internal teams and clients.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to drive alignment and decision-making at all levels.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate RGM concepts and recommendations into clear, compelling narratives.
Experience working in small, agile teams, with the ability to adapt to fast-changing priorities.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively in virtual and distributed teams, working across time zones and geographies using digital communication and project management tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Willingness to travel up to 50%.

The estimated base salary for this job is $140,000 - $170,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $161,000 - $212,500. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
