Your role and responsibilitiesDigital Content and Internal Communications Manager for ABB Sweden is, in close coordination with Head of Communications and Head of Press, responsible for preparing, coordinating, and prioritizing communication based on news flows, events, business activities, etc., originating from business areas and divisions both locally and globally and to publish this in ABB Sweden's external channels, digital channels and intranet Inside+. The role strategically plans the content of ABB's channels, but also creates content, writes articles, supports the development of press releases and briefing materials, and works operationally to strengthen the brand and increase the impact of communication.The role requires excellent language skills in Swedish and English, as well as experience in creating and publishing content on social media, interviewing and writing articles, web editing, photography and film (both creating and editing). The role reports to the Head of Communications.Examples of tasks:• Responsibility for ABB Sweden's external web and intranet• Responsibility for ABB Sweden's social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube)• Responsible for internal communication for ABB Sweden• Content creation in the form of text, photo, and film• Support in the development, proofreading, and distribution of press releases• Covering press and media work, stand-in for press manager
Qualifications for the roleRelevant education within for example the field of communications or economy2-5 years of related experience, preferably with a mix of corporate/agency experience and/or industry experience. Experience from listed environment good but not crucialStrong writing skills, able to create content and press releasesGood at building relationships and creating commitmentPractice in building and collaborating with formal and informal networks at all levels of an organizationAction-oriented, strong attention to detail, able to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion with a high standard of excellence
