Digital Content Coordinator

We are hiring in the Bronx Join us at Fedcap Inc. for an exciting career as a Digital Content Coordinator.

Wage/Salary: $52,000-$52,400.  | Non-Exempt Full-Time

 

Position Summary: 

The Digital Content Coordinator will be responsible for developing and managing all digital content for Fedcap’s Career Service programs. The role will be responsible for creating content in collaboration with program leads to increase engagement of program participants which includes virtual workshops, special events, social media pages, and virtual marketing strategies. They will be responsible for monitoring and managing social media pages and developing an overall social media engagement plan in partnership with program leadership. This position will also develop and implement processes and structures to share and monitor content and measure performance. 

Essential Job Functions:

Develop digital content for Virtual Workshops based on participant wants and needs to increase overall participation and engagement in the Career Services program.  Create content for social media pages in collaboration with program leads in Fedcap’s Career Compass and YouthPathways programs.  Monitor Social Media pages and develop an overall social media engagement plan in collaboration with Career Compass and YouthPathways leadership.  Work closely with Career Compass and YouthPathways staff to develop a digital weekly newsletter that provides program participants with updates on various topics, particularly program updates, upcoming events, resources, job opportunities, and participant success stories.  Design, create, and manage promotions and social advertising campaigns, such as event promotions, job postings, and other marketing campaigns. Generate, edit, publish,h and share content (original text, images, graphics, video, or HTML on social media, and in newsletters) to increase audience numbers and participant engagement.  Capture and analyze data/metrics to build upon best practices, drive performance, and report findings to management. Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy. Identify risks across social channels and report issues to leadership for resolution. Facilitate specialty workshops specifically related to virtual engagement and navigating Social Media.

Education and Experience:

BA/BS in a relevant topic or equivalent work-related experience. 2+ years of relevant experience creating digital content, managing websites, and creating/implementing social media programs. Strong writing and editing skills. Outstanding organizational and planning abilities Able to convert complex ideas and concepts into easily understood language tailored to a variety of audiences.
