TelevisaUnivision is seeking an enthusiastic Digital Content Producer to join its Digital National News Team. This role is perfect for a creative individual who is fluent in both English and Spanish and wishes to contribute to a passionate team dedicated to creating innovative content that resonates with Hispanic audiences on a local level. The mission of the Digital National News Team is to produce captivating content that stands out in Hispanic media through exceptional storytelling. The Digital Content Producer will collaborate closely with the National Video Head and other Script Writers to brainstorm ideas for video stories tailored to Univision's web and social media. These stories may cover a range of topics, including breaking news, human interest stories, local sports, cultural events, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience in television, and digital media, along with a strong understanding of how digital videos are consumed across various platforms. They should be able to identify compelling angles for Hispanic audiences, predict emerging trends, and create scripts that elevate the team's storytelling capabilities.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)
• Generate content from script development to post-production, including basic graphic design and music selection.
• Identify story angles that resonate with the Hispanic community and foster engagement.
• Use social media analytics and internal data to guide content strategy and explore new opportunities.
• Determine the focus, length, and format of each story, organizing materials accordingly.
• Handle special projects and additional tasks as assigned.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting newsroom deadlines.
• Be available to work evenings and weekends for regular coverage and special assignments.
• Handle all aspects of channel management (video uploads, data analysis, optimization)
• Clear handling of YouTube channel live streams and basic knowledge of live streaming platforms.
• Cut and edit television news clips.
• Transform Tv content into digital content.
• Availability for special coverages outside of regular working hours, such as breaking news.
• Notify completed content through various internal communication channels.
• Constant optimization of content on channels according to trends and peaks in content consumption, adjusting SEO, thumbnails, end screens and cards. This for emerging content in consumption trends.
YOU HAVE: (Qualifications, Required Skills & Experience )
• At least 2 years of experience in video editing within production, digital journalism, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Film, Video Production, Arts, Communications or technical education.
• Proficiency in Premiere software.
• Strong writing skills in Spanish.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
• More than 1 year of experience in YouTube channel management.
• Familiarity with visual storytelling and digital video production techniques.
• Ability to make quick decisions and provide precise and clear instructions.
• Performs well in a fast-paced environment and last-minute situations.
• Technical understanding of digital production and editing processes.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
