We need a versatile, experienced, digital content strategy manager who can develop content strategy that prioritizes customer needs, user experience, and business goals.
Our ideal candidate is a collaborative, skilled, and independent content strategy leader that understands all the different aspects (product, design, development, SEO, etc.) that influence a content strategy and how to lead a team of copywriters to execute their vision. While not specifically a content publisher, candidates should have an understanding of CMS platforms and the content entry process as well as copywriting, generative AI, and publishing practices. This is a management level role that will help grow our UAE team, with future opportunities for career development.
Responsibilities
Working understanding of technical SEO and how it impacts the content strategyUnderstanding the connection between content, delivery technologies, and designUnderstand key customer journeys associated with brands and be able to leverage data insights when defining content strategiesKnowledge about content component modeling and ability to work with UI/UX designers to make improvements and suggest existing/new modulesGather current messaging and style guide assets and/or help create and define assets for key messaging to initiate and implement content strategyExcellent understanding of information architecture, page content hierarchy and taxonomyDefining and descoping campaign briefs, content inputs, new projects for the copy and publishing teamsDevelop content strategy that prioritizes customer needs, user experience, and business goalsDemonstrated curiosity and ideas for how generative AI can optimize content delivery at scaleBe the leading voice for the content strategy by facilitating brainstorming workshops with the clientAbility to take a client-provided creative campaign brief and plan the cross-channel content execution for web, app, SAS and CRMAbility to lead teams of content creators and publishers to deliver on a creative brief Interview stakeholders to define content and messaging goals and success metrics for each product launch or campaignAbility to collaborate with extended teams and build stakeholder relationships that positively impact & influence business goalsRequired Skills
Excellent English and Arabic writing and proofreading skillsStrong understanding of content management systems (CMS) such as Adobe, WordPress, Magento, and Shopify, as well as digital, social media, and CRM platforms, to create content components/artifacts that function effectively in those environmentsStrong research skills and natural curiosity – may be asked to train-up on specific client technologiesStrong presentation and interviewing skillsStrong organization and documentation skillsProficiency in MS Office toolsManagerial and team lead experience leading teams of writers and publishersExcellent time management and organizational skillsExcellent stakeholder/client management skillsEffectively manage work allocations and coordinate with the publishing team lead to ensure priorities are metCreative and collaborative engagement styleBeginner to intermediate knowledge of generative AI tools and practicesAbility to manage and monitor teams’ work, coach and mentor writers where neededAbility to identify, plan and manage content requirements end-to-end on projectsAbility to create content directly in PowerPoint slide templates and make content fit elegantly into established slide designs for executive reports and presentationsWorking knowledge of UI/UX collaboration tools like Zeplin and Figma is a plusLocation:
