Digital Engagement Manager - REMOTE

Description

ICF is seeking a Digital Engagement Manager to align and to manage online dissemination of key products for the Children’s Bureau, Administration for Children and Families, US Department of Health and Human Services.


This role is highly collaborative, and a successful candidate will be a strong and effective communicator with experience engaging and coordinating with internal teams, project leadership, and the client on complex requests. This position will involve developing and implementing new processes and procedures for the dissemination of products developed by partners throughout the project lifecycle and working with the various partners to understand and implement these guidelines. Setting expectations and communicating timelines, milestones, and process with Information Gateway teams and the client will be key responsibilities of this role.

Key Responsibilities

Align efforts and communication across functional and matrixed Information Gateway teams to support the development and dissemination of products and information across websites and systems. 

Collaborate with teams and key partners to communicate and facilitate understanding of new processes and procedures.

Supervise several staff working across teams and systems to bridge communication and dissemination strategies and alignments.  

Support the strategic planning process and the communication of the plan across teams and with project leadership.

Work directly with clients, subcontractors, and team members to determine needs and translate them into actionable ideas. 

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and propose and create strategies and tools to support an enhanced user interface and user experience. 

Maintain project plans, coordinate 508 compliance requests across teams, and provide key written communications for stakeholders, including ad hoc and formal reports. 

Take on other tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in social work, communications, IT, or other human-service related fields. 

Minimum 8 years professional experience, with at least 3 years in client management, project management, web content management, or related disciplines in Federal contracting. 

Proven experience in understanding complex, technical concepts and breaking them down into simple ideas and visualizations to communicate to others.  

Familiarity with Section 508 compliance standards to ensure digital content is accessible to people with disabilities, with the ability to train and assist others. 

Direct experience collaborating heavily with senior leadership staff. 

Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions.  

Strong project management skills: ability to juggle multiple priorities, communicate well across matrixed teams, organize, and execute.   

Experience in project/task management applications such as MS Project, JIRA, SharePoint. 

Proven experience in managing large-scale websites. 

Proficiency in MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat. 

Preferred Qualifications

Have experience in both digital/web project management and Federal government information systems. 

Have proven experience managing diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.

Have knowledge of child welfare and an understanding of the Administration of Child and Families and Children’s Bureau’s mission. 

Have working knowledge of Section 508 guidelines. 

Are comfortable with ambiguity; you navigate quickly and drive delivery with minimal direction.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$89,203.00 - $151,646.00
