DPHM Ground Station File Processing Center is a crucial component of engine data flow, that ingest and process data from all P&WC connected engines using aircraft mounted recorders solutions (FAST™/DCTU). DPHM Ground station enable the operator to rely on fast, reliable, and successful data transmission and delivery as well as reporting diagnostic and health management analysis to determine applicable engine maintenance tasks.
The DPHM Software team is looking for an experienced software engineer, responsible to develop, upgrade, maintain, and support suite of DPHM Ground station in-service applications. The candidate will participate in the agile development of applications complying with the DPHM business logic and the proposed solutions from P&WC IT solution architects.
Job Description
Required qualification and skills:
Bachelor/Master of Science in Software Engineering, or Computer ScienceMinimum of 5-8 years’ experience in design, development and support of production-tier software application services and micro-servicesScrum/Agile software development and project life cycle experienceExperience with JIRA, TFS and GitHub tools for software configuration management systems and version control processesStrong knowledge of software development process and Object-Oriented Programming skills (Java, C#/C++)Demonstrated experience in high volume file ingestion and processing pipeline, and IOT connectivity.Knowledge of Message Queue Systems specially Apache Kafka and Kafka StreamsProfessional experience in cloud technology development (AWS, lambda, …) and AWS cloud certificationProficient in MS Office, especially in ExcelGood oral and written communication skills in English is mandatory.Good team player, strong analytical skills and highly motivatedRole and responsibilities:
Responsible to develop Ground station applications, deployed into our file processing center, to accomplish files movement management and transfer to support data exchange with P&WC partner and customers.Design and update software applications to accommodate new P&WC requirements, application enhancements implementation, technology evolution.Enhance inbound/outbound data exchange, customization of file movement and alerting services.Create and update class diagrams and design specification documents for new developments.Responsible for verification procedures, testing automation, and perform CI/CD pipeline definition.Define data cubes to support web services in order to produce automated dashboards for pipeline operational monitoring KPIs.Drive continuous process optimization for file storage and processing costs.Collaborate with P&WC IT department for Dev SecOps activities, applications troubleshooting.What we offer
