Roles & Objectives
As an Intern you will be part of our Digital Engineering team for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to one of our Business Solutions Managers. The position will be based in Bologna

At Digital Engineering (in Bologna, Italy), we are designing the future of our factories towards Industry 4.0.: Digitalization of processes, Connected Worker, Smarter Assets, Seamless integration of people, systems and machines. 
Our team is managing a vast portfolio of challenging engineering projects and IT solutions , ranging from hardware to
software, factory floor to cloud applications. We are looking for talented students with various areas of expertise who can make a difference in our digital journey.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

Understanding needs & challenges related to digitalization of production processes;Supporting the design of Hybrid IIoT solutions focusing on customer centric approach;Supporting the development and deployment of state-of-the-art Industry 4.0 and Operational Excellence project within a corporate environment;Support change management  process for Manufacturing Operation Management (MOM) solutions with all stakeholders;Following the development of the application with an external supplier & internal teams;Practicing agile methodology for project management and solution change management process. 

 

Who we’re looking for:

The ideal candidate should have:

Studies for a master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical and ElectronicEngineering, Communications Systems, Management, Technology and Entrepreneurship or related areas;Proactive and good organizational skills;Knowledge in Industry 4.0 topics. Operational Excellence and GenAI applications are considered a plus;Knowledge in software engineering and development tools and best practices;Experience in data collection, management and analysis;Fluency in English is mandatory, and will be tested throughout the interview process.
