This role is part of Dead River Company’s small but mighty marketing team and will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing. You’ll be located in beautiful Portland, Maine, where you will have access to all the many benefits of Maine.
Key Objectives of the Role:
The Digital Experience Manager is responsible for transforming the online customer journey, optimizing digital platforms, and driving strategies that improve engagement, lead generation, and self-service across our brands.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analytics and Insight: You’ll analyze web traffic, conversion rates, user behavior, and other key metrics to uncover insights and develop a strategic roadmap for our digital experience. You’ll be expected to distill complex data into actionable recommendations that lead to real improvements. User Experience: Your UX and design experience will be crucial as you create intuitive, engaging digital interfaces that help users easily navigate and engage with our platforms. Hands-on Improvements to the Website(s): This role requires you to roll up your sleeves and make meaningful improvements to our websites and digital tools. You’ll design and create new pages, modify existing ones, and add functionality to improve both the user experience and business outcomes. Familiarity with CMS platforms (ideally Kentico) and basic knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will help you collaborate effectively with development teams to implement these changes. Experience with frameworks like React and cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus. Collaboration/Project Management: You’ll partner with our internal IT team and work alongside external marketing and digital partners to lead improvement projects for our customer-facing online platforms. Your project management skills will help ensure that we deliver high-quality, on-time digital solutions that support our business goals.Primary Skills:

Project Implementation: You’ll need experience collaborating with both internal teams (like IT) and external partners (including marketing and digital agencies) to drive digital projects forward. Your leadership and organizational skills will help keep projects on track and ensure we meet business objectives.
