Join us and we can make a difference together. **About this role** As part of its separation from Carrier, the Commercial and Residential Fire business is building its Information Technology (IT) department. This presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated and strategic thinker to assume the Network and Telephony role within the IT organization. This role represents the opportunity to help build and shape the future of our global network function. While reporting directly to the head of Infrastructure and Operations, this person will work with all members of IT to help solve issues and create true value for the company. **Key Responsibilities** + Lead the planning, design, and implementation of network and telephony systems to support business operations. + Manage and optimize network performance, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues. + Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of telephony systems, including VoIP, PBX, and related technologies. + Develop and enforce network and telephony policies, procedures, and best practices. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network and telephony solutions with other IT systems. + Conduct regular assessments of network and telephony infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary upgrades. + Ensure network and telephony security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures and protocols. + Provide technical guidance and support to IT staff and end-users. + Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions. + Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for network and telephony services and equipment. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training + Proven experience in network and telephony management, with a minimum of 5+ years in a leadership role. + Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and telephony systems (VoIP, PBX, etc.). + Experience with network security practices and technologies. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Strong leadership and team management abilities. + Effective communication and interpersonal skills. + Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are a plus + **Education / Certifications** + Any bachelor’s degree or Equivalent **Benefits:** ·We are committed to offering competitive benefits programs for all of our employees, and enhancing our programs when necessary.·Have peace of mind and body with our health insurance·Make yourself a priority with flexible schedules and leave Policy·Drive forward your career through professional development opportunities Achieve your personal goals with our Employee Assistance Program. **Our commitment to you:** Our greatest assets are the expertise, creativity and passion of our employees.
