The O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law was established in 2007 through the generous philanthropy of Linda and Timothy O’Neill to respond to the need for innovative solutions to the most pressing global health concerns. In bringing together experts from both the public health and legal fields, the O’Neill Institute reflects the importance of public and private law in health policy analysis. Housed at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., the O’Neill Institute draws upon Georgetown’s considerable intellectual resources, including the School of Nursing and Health Studies, the School of Medicine, the McCourt School of Public Policy, and the Kennedy Institute of Ethics.
The O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University Law Center is seeking a creative storyteller with a deep understanding of social media platforms and trends, a knack for data analytics, and a passion for advancing health justice. The Digital Marketing Associate will create and implement data-driven strategies for social media marketing campaigns that will help increase engagement and expand audience reach. The digital marketing associate will serve as O’Neill’s social media expert and web content lead, leading on all day-to-day social media activities, including analytics and reporting.

The Digital Marketing Associate will report to the Director of Communications. In addition, this position will regularly engage with members of the O’Neill Institute’s staff and leadership.
Requirements and Qualifications
B.A. degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field
3-5 years in social media and digital marketing, ideally with a nonprofit or academic institution background
Advanced knowledge and understanding of popular social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Reddit, and YouTube
Strong experience with Canva
Strong experience with social media management tools
Experience in WordPress and Google Analytics
Knowledge of SEO and optimization tools
Familiarity with Google Ads, Facebook Ad Manager, LinkedIn ads, Reddit ads, and display advertising
Ability to keep current with social media and digital marketing trends
Soft Skill Requirements
An evidenced self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organized and self-motivated
Proven strong project management and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$47,586.00 - $87,558.13Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
