Kemper interns will be exposed to the following concepts and experiences:
Work directly with creative partners such as advertising agencies
Conduct keyword and audience research
Support the execution of process improvements to enhance department initiatives
Develop search engine optimization (SEO) content
Assist with landing page design, ad copy, and other creative tasks (i.e. infographics)
Learn how different forms of media are connected
Participate and present in team meetings
Develop from mentorship opportunities
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE):
Junior or Senior status enrolled at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley
Qualifying majors in an academic area related to marketing, communications, public relations, or to financial services or insurance industry, such as finance, data analytics, accounting, or business administration
Non-business majors are welcome if strong interest in financial services and/or insurance industry
Candidates who have completed some marketing related course work are preferred
A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale
Proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred
This position is a hybrid role and may require work in the office 3-4 days a week
