**Position Summary:**
Reporting to the Sr. Mgr., Digital Marketing Operations, the Digital Marketing Manager co-develops and manages digital marketing initiatives that drive fulfillment of the global strategy and objectives of Swagelok.
This role collaborates with both cross-functional teams and third-party agencies to identify the appropriate strategies, resources, metrics, channels, and content to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of each initiative. From developing strategies to supporting execution to overseeing data-driven optimization, this role will engage in a variety of capacities across the department. The Digital Marketing Manager has a demonstrated knowledge of the digital marketing space, staying attune to industry best practices, digital trends, emerging platforms, and tools that can improve our business outcomes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Work with marketing communications team to drive content for relevant digital channels including website, blog posts, video, advertising, and other marketing copy.
+ Work with marketing communications, product and market managers, and the sales and service center marcom network to develop top-level content strategies, user goals, and metrics for relevant digital channels.
+ Lead and manage projects that improve the website user experience, support website strategic goals, and advance Swagelok’s brand position.
+ Lead website, search, advertising, and competitive analytics
+ Partner in creating, managing, and optimizing the online advertising strategy and advertising spend to best align with commercial objectives and business model.
+ Manage the communications and right-sized training of the sales and service center marcom network on relevant digital initiatives.
+ Improve processes to support effective corporate-local business model in respective focus areas.
+ Liaise with the business and IT to align key focus areas including data privacy, digital channel enhancement business requirements, and website operation.
+ Monitor and report on digital marketing initiatives of key competitors in the marketplace.
+ Partner in managing the relationship with digital marketing agency to ensure timely and successful content, campaign and program launches.
+ Partnering in developing, tracking, and managing digital initiatives budget ensuring that projects stay on track financially, and costs stay within parameters set and look for ways to continue to gain efficiencies.
+ Prepare in-depth analysis, reporting, and presentation for digital initiatives to measure success, identify optimization opportunities, and inform strategic planning.
+ Execute all miscellaneous web-related requests and special projects
+ Stay current with industry trends (including participating in outside courses and conferences) and incorporate contemporary technology and techniques into Swagelok’s digital strategies.
+ Build and maintain channel expertise through field travel, attendance at industry events, competitive analysis and close collaboration with sales and service centers.
+ Approximate # of direct reports (if applicable) – If applicable, supervisory responsibility: 0-2 direct reports
+ Budget responsibility (if applicable) – Responsible for managing digital vendor spend on Search Engine Marketing and Digital content related to specific focus areas.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Required:
+ Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
+ 8+ years’ experience in B2B digital marketing and advertising
+ Proven experience collaborating with and influencing a cross-functional team, including digital marketing, marketing communications, product and market management, and IT
+ Experience in the oversight and management of digital marketing campaigns across several channels, including paid advertising; track record of building scalable digital marketing campaign strategies
+ Strong command of metrics best practices and analytics tools, including Google Analytics; Google Analytics 4 preferred
+ Good operational and process orientation; strong project management and organizational abilities
+ Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, across all organizational levelso Proficiency with M365 suite, including Excel
Preferred:
+ Prior experience with email marketing, e-commerce, lead generation and SEO
+ Experience with SAP Commerce, SItecore, or related platforms
+ Experience with CMS management
+ Experience with user research, user journeys, and personas
Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:
+ Working conditions associated with normal office environment.
+ Ability to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, telephone, copier, printer, etc.).
+ Ability to effectively communicate in both small and large groups and settings.
+ Ability to traverse between multiple locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania as needed.
+ Occasional domestic and/or international travel may be required.
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards.
+ Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
