Summary:Are you a self-starter with a passion for digital marketing? Thermo Fisher Scientific is hiring a Marketing Automation Specialist to drive our email marketing programs. This role sits within our Chemical Analysis Digital Marketing Operations COE, driving strategies and execution for the brand, reporting to our Digital Marketing Supervisor. Responsibilities:Implement daily email marketing tasks such as setting up, scheduling, testing, tagging, and sending one-time and dynamic content-based campaigns.Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, email delivery, ensuring high deliverability rates and minimizing spam complaints.Collaborate across teams and functions to suggest standard methodologies for email content while supporting brand and sales goals ensuring accuracy, quality, and brand consistency in communications.Adhere to email target customer list hygiene rules to ensure optimal deliverability and avoid blacklisting of our email database.Understand email technology and various data sources to best use data and technology to deliver incremental growth and provide recommendations for improvement on lead generation activities.Maintain email marketing software and tools, optimizing email templates, ensuring accurate performance tracking, data integrity, and efficient workflowsRequirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.3+ years using email marketing platforms (Oracle Eloqua preferred) and marketing automation tools (Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) preferred).Familiarity with email marketing principles and standard methodologies, such as audience segmentation, A/B testing, and performance tracking.Familiarity with HTML and CSS for email template customization is preferred.Meticulous in proofreading and testing user flows and emails. Able to prioritize customer experience and challenge doubtful and misleading content and execution.Strong analytical skills with capabilities to analyze large and complex data sets from multiple sources.Understanding of GDPR and CAN-SPAM Act regulationsExcellent project management skills (Workfront knowledge preferred), prioritizing tasks, balancing multiple projects, and meeting requested timelines.Strong communication (English) and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Continuous learning mentality, staying updated with emerging email marketing technologies and trends.Self-motivated, results-orientated and comfortable working in a virtual environment.
