Digital Marketing Specialist-Addressable

The Digital Marketing Specialist (Addressable) will support the execution of addressable marketing strategies across various channels, specifically email, app notifications, SMS, and more, for Family Dollar. This role will drive customer acquisition, retention, and re-engagement through targeted promotional and personalized marketing efforts, supporting the Smart Coupon loyalty program. The Specialist will collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to implement and optimize marketing campaigns that enhance online and in-store revenue and explore new addressable channels such as push notifications, SMS, and targeted and personalized campaigns.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
-Campaign Execution: Assist in the development and execution of addressable marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies and the Smart Coupon loyalty program.
-Customer Segmentation: Utilize customer data to create targeted campaign segments, optimizing outreach for maximum impact.
-Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
-Collaboration: Work alongside merchandising, marketing, creative, web development, and external agency partners to ensure cohesive campaign implementation.
-Testing and Optimization: Participate in testing new addressable channels and strategies, including web push notifications, SMS, and personalized messaging, to identify effective tactics.
-Reporting: Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and actionable insights to the Digital Marketing Manager.
-Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and best practices in addressable marketing and integrate findings into campaign strategies.
-Administrative Support: Assist the Digital Marketing Manager in day-to-day operations, including scheduling meetings, managing project timelines, and organizing campaign assets.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
-1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, focusing on email marketing, SMS, or app messaging preferred.
-Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-A collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
-Familiarity with customer segmentation and targeting strategies is a plus.
