Then come join us! Job Description Summary: Digital Merchandisers are responsible for arranging, auditing, configuring, and editing content for trekbikes.com. This role requires collaboration across many departments. Digital Merchandisers regularly interact with business partners to determine strategy and quickly turn around requests for changes/additions to trekbikes.com, prioritizing the implementation of multiple business requests at any given moment. Digital Merchandisers execute initiatives and ensure consistency with site vision and style guides in coordination with marketing managers, product managers, web development teams. Digital Merchandisers report to the Digital Services team and assist with the tactical and technical direction of trekbikes.com, managing the production/lifecycle of web-related initiatives. This job has some tough deadlines - websites never sleep. Responsibilities: + Ensure the most appropriate products are displayed in search results on trekbikes.com + Ensure search is indexing the appropriate attributes + Use analytics to determine top search terms + Manage terms, dictionaries, word stems, synonyms, misspellings, stop words, and acronyms + Use boosting capabilities to show products in desired order/sequence on trekbikes.com + Help determine which type of new items, cross-sells, up-sells, or closeouts will be shown on trekbikes.com + Develop ongoing, repeatable process for creating and maintaining related items data, including active involvement from other teams + Engage Brand Managers, Product Managers, Forecasters, Product Support, and Customer Service/Tech departments for strategic input + Be a global partner. All languages need to be considered; consult in-market Brand teams + Partner with multiple stakeholders to manage expectations, gain trust, and achieve high customer satisfaction + Be an expert on SAP Commerce backoffice system + Proactively look for technical solutions to implement requests in a more efficient manner + Provide professional guidance and constructive feedback to project team members Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3+ years’ experience in web, digital space or related field required + Strong written and verbal communication skills, including editing, grammar, and proofreading; good listener + Ability to independently prioritize work, manage and hit deadlines + Attention to detail and accuracy + Collaborative, quality team player with ambition to do impactful work + Sense of humor and strong work ethic a must + Superior organizational skills to keep a large queue of work in order + Knowledge of Excel formulas and functions Bonus Skills: + Knowledge of SAP Commerce, Solr Indexes, Google Analytics + Technical knowledge about bicycles If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
