Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. To run such an extraordinary store, it takes extraordinary people, and we are looking for a Digital Merchandising Specialist - APAC to help us do extraordinary things. The Digital Experience and Merchandising (DE&M) team defines, develops and delivers an exceptional shopping experience for Apple Store Online customers across all of our digital platforms. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will play a key role in developing innovative regional merchandising and story telling strategies that captivate customers and support purchase confidence. You will have the opportunity to shape how people shop, driving innovation and creating best-in-class experiences for Apple customers.DescriptionDescriptionThe individual in this role will lead the planning and execution of APAC regional digital merchandising strategies for new product launches, programs including Apple Trade in, Apple Care, and Apple Retail Value Propositions, and Retail Learning Video content across the Apple Store Online and the Apple Store App. The individual in this role will leverage a deep understanding of business goals, commercial programs, customer journeys and friction points to continuously optimize the digital shopping experience.
Responsibilities: - Develop detailed merchandising strategies, briefs and plans for new product launches, programs and Retail Learning Videos in partnership with worldwide DE&M team, commercial teams, Marketing teams, Retail Contact Center and other stakeholders. - Collaborate with worldwide and regional cross-functional teams for product launches to ensure local relevance in merchandising, including navigation, content, curation, and performance optimization. - Collaborate with the Analytics teams to analyze data to extract actionable insights, and translate them into clear recommendations and plans. - Work cross-functionally to understand the customer journey and implement strategies that enhance the digital shopping experience on the Apple Store Online and Apple Store App. - Regular meetings with peers in AMR and EMEIA during overlapping business hours.Minimum QualificationsMinimum Qualifications7+ years of experience in digital merchandising, digital commerce, marketing, digital customer experience, or equivalent.
Experience working closely with creative and UX teams to create innovative customer experiences.Key QualificationsKey QualificationsPreferred QualificationsPreferred QualificationsProven track record of enhancing digital merchandising performance and digital customer experience through data-driven insights.Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.Deep understanding of regional retail trends, including shopping behaviors, consumer preferences and conversion optimization strategies.Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to identify solutions and effectively leverage resources.
