Salary: £50,000 – £64,000 annual (depending on experience)

EAME Distribution has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate individual who can drive change and process improvements in the digital area. As a Digital Operations Consultant, you will play a key role in executing our digital strategy. Your primary role will consist in working with key dealers in the UK, the Netherlands and Norway and support the development of their digital capabilities in line with the Digital Excellence Program.

The EAME Distribution Division manages Cat® distribution across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Eurasia. The division provides clear guidance and support across all Cat® dealers in the region to ensure their strong performance and their execution of the segment growth strategies. The division also delivers superior customer experiences, profitable services growth, and industry leadership.

The incumbent will provide expertise in the area of Connectivity, Equipment Management Solutions as well as Dealer Data Management and serve as the Connectivity Subject Matter Expert for Europe Region. In this role you will work directly with senior dealer management as well as many internal business partners across the enterprise including Cat Digital, Construction Industries Services Division (CISD), Energy & Transportation Division (E&T) and Distribution Services Division (DSD).

This position provides a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast evolving environment and contribute to Caterpillar’s Services Growth Strategy by working on enterprise-wide recognized initiatives and improving dealer digital capabilities and performance. To succeed in this role, strong Communication, Change and Project Management skills are essential.

Main Job Responsibilities include:

Driving execution of Digital priorities and strategic initiatives as identified by Leadership Tables, Operational Excellence Program and Services Growth Strategies.

Establish and execute action plans and governance reviews to improve digital capabilities with assigned dealers.

Consulting with dealers on Connectivity, Equipment Management Solutions and Data Management.

Develop go-to-market strategies for Equipment Management solutions and drive customer adoption.

Be the main digital contact for Dealers, Distribution Directors, Field Reps as well as various other internal business partners and provide subject matter expertise to improve Dealer Digital capabilities.

Aligning strategies of the dealer, Cat Digital, Aftermarket Services, Industries and Caterpillar Distribution Services Divisions

Keeping up with new industry trends, changing technology and regulations affecting the competitive environment.

Required skills and qualifications:

Proven experience in operational and marketing gained from a broad range of assignments requiring dealer and/or customer contact and interactions

Strong interpersonal and communication skills including presentation proficiency and a demonstrated ability to earn trust and credibility with senior management teams

Solid analytical skills and ability to work through large data sets. Advanced Excel knowledge is a plus.

Proven leadership skills and ability to influence internal and external partners at all hierarchy levels to successfully drive change

Extensive project management and process improvement experience

Self-starter, able to work autonomously and in teams

Top candidates will also have:

Good understanding of the Digital Operations environment and in particular Connectivity, Equipment Management Solutions and Dealer Data Management.

Proven ability to drive operational improvements with dealers and customers

Demonstrated ability to quickly understand dealer culture with the ability to translate that understanding into a tailored approach to selling the value of Digital offerings

Additional Information: This position will require up to 30% Travel
