As our Digital Operations Engineer, you will demonstrate strong technological diversity, business acumen and a continuous growth mindset. You will be part of a collaborative and driven team and environment, leveraging evolving technology to meet the needs of the business and improve our customer experience. Responsibilities Your responsibilities You will monitor performance of both on-premises and cloud systems using a variety of dashboards and tools. Support and partner with our engineering teams and your peers to continually evolve the monitoring platform. Triage, quantify, and prioritize production issues to ensure timely resolution and minimal business impact. Actively participate in incident management and root cause analysis for all major incidents. Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of issues affecting both back-end and front-end services by analyzing logs, executing queries, and utilizing developer tools. Provide real-time support for development, test, and production systems in a 24x365 “always on” environment. Support and participate in an on-call rotation and/or dedicated shift work as required. Facilitate and participate in release and deployment activities – ensuring all activities are communicated to all stakeholders and provide operational support throughout activity. Implement and enforce continual improvement practices and suggest areas for improvement to support processes bt identifying, and mitigating risk, and delivering exceptional customer service. Qualifications About you You will have completed a bachelor’s degree or associate degree in relevant discipline. Ideally bring with you a minimum of 5 years of related information technology experience & 3 years or more of retail business experience and/or knowledge 3+ years supporting multi stack eCommerce platforms in on-prem, cloud, microservices & hybrid environments 2+ years debugging front-end and API issues using integrated developer tools and browser extensions (Firebug, JSON View, Postman, and similar); use of log aggregators such as Splunk, Kibana for advanced analysis 1+ years' experience in ReactJS (Final-form, Redux, gulp-react and webpack) and NodeJS Previous application and network performance management (APM & NPM) experience using New Relic, SolarWinds, Nagios, OpenNMS, Catchpoint, etc. Intermediate knowledge of Python and shell scripting is preferred but not essential Experience and knowledge in infrastructure, quality assurance, monitoring, and comprehensive analysis of digital commerce platforms will be highly regarded.
