Position: Digital Operations Manager

Location: Remote, W Michigan, NY, or CT


General Purpose

Responsible for leading, managing, and setting strategy for the Digital Operations team to achieve operational objections, in such areas as process, quality, reliability, continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate digital projects.Understand digital operating best practices and big picture.Understand interdependencies specific to product data and the digital ecosystem.Passion for product data organization as it relates to business objectives.Ability to coordinate cross-functional inputs and buy-in.

Essential Functions

Responsible for championing the continuous improvement processes of the Digital Operations team by streamlining and creating processes that add global value to the creation and production of product data and digital assets.Responsible for championing change to improve the organization’s capability of ingesting product information and digital assets, streamlining automation capability and by utilizing people’s skill to solve problems proactively and constantly move towards the ideal solution that is scalable and global.Responsible for always keeping the global needs of the business at the forefront of the Digital Operations team strategy. Ensure that improvements to existing processes and newly implemented solutions meet the needs of the North America business while being scalable globally.Responsible for motivating and involving digital operations teams and collaborators in improving processes through creativity, problem solving, and learning. This is accomplished through setting expectations, teaching, encouraging, coaching and holding employees accountable to utilize standardized work. Solicit employees’ ideas for improvements and create a work environment where employees are encouraged to take risks and share their ideas for improvement.Responsible to show appreciation of those individuals and teams that demonstrate outstanding performance, which is directly aligned with the company’s and technology organizations strategic goals of fostering a community of highly engaged associates. Also responsible for providing timely feedback including formal check ins with employees and performance coaching.Ensure on time delivery of strategic projects/initiatives by providing tactical planning and removing obstacles.Direct experience in authoring procedural guides and training materials; lead the documentation process for established processes and future needs, includes but is not limited to processes involving Product Data Management, Content Specialists, Web Authoring/Producing, and Customer Experience Quality Specialists.Responsible for leading, managing, and training the Digital Production/Operations team members, including but not limited to the Digital Operations Analyst, Customer Experience Quality Assurance team, and Content Specialists. Responsible for team training and workload management.

Qualifications

8+ years of operations-related experience with an understanding of product data & asset management business processes, hardware and software technologies to support digital platforms and project management fundamentals.Functional knowledge of key application systems (i.e., SalesForce Cloud applications, NetSuite, Bynder, PIM, etc).Ability to view opportunities and solutions from a broad, long-term perspective.Ability to work alone, participate as a team member and lead medium-to-large projects.Broad understanding of furniture industry, business processes, information flow and related systems.Demonstrated ability to effectively use office automation / communication software and tools currently used in the company’s environment.Successful experience in achieving results om medium to large projects that involved specifying requirements, testing solutions, documenting processes and procedures, and guiding work of others.Excellent interpersonal skills.Advanced Excel skills and management of large datasets.Experience in using Atlassian Products, Confluence and JIRA, Airtable and Wrike ideal.Experience in administrating a Digital Asset Management system; Bynder preferred.Knowledge of common digital asset formats.Ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software and tools used in the company environment.Ability to balance customer and business needs, while remaining flexible in a fast-changing environment. Bachelor’s degree required.

A starting compensation range for this role is $100,450.00 - $126,850.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
