You will be responsible for ensuring production services are operated in a consistent and scalable manner, delivering a high-quality experience to millions of viewers across Fox networks, TUBI, digital platforms, mobile applications, websites, linear networks, and 3rd party distribution partners such as Amazon, Hulu, and Apple. You will work very closely with SRO and Tier 1 Media Control Center (MCC) Operations to help develop procedures, monitoring patterns, and troubleshooting approaches. The Digital Operations Specialist is a Tier 1 type role. Fox is looking for a self-starter, interested in leaning into progressive approaches to the production operations of world-class media and digital services, who can partner effectively with other Fox operations teams to deliver reliable, high-quality content experiences to customers.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall responsibility of content services, applications, and events, including event monitoring, incident management, and cloud servicesCreate and maintain response plays across a variety of incident management and monitoring tools, such as Blameless, Pager Duty, Service Now, Dataminr, DataDog, and New RelicSupport the development and reporting of key operational metrics to drive improvements over timeAssist SRO team with creation and ongoing updates to documentation, including operational runbooksWHAT YOU WILL NEED
Experience with operations and cloud-based servicesKnowledge of internet and digital/streaming platformsUnderstanding of orchestration and monitoring of cloud-native servicesAbility to work and stay calm under pressure, in a fast-paced environmentAbility to multitaskExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong team playerSchedule flexibility is key to supporting the operational needs of the business, and this role may operate on an adjusted schedule including weekends, overnights, early mornings, etc.Customer service experienceNICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
A Bachelor’s Degree is awesome, but not requiredExperience/knowledge of the broadcast industry is preferred#Ll-DM1
