Digital Product Manager, Good Sam

As a Digital Product Manager at Good Sam, you will take full ownership of the product vision and strategy, driving its success through a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and business goals. You will lead every aspect of the product lifecycle, from planning and development to launch and iteration, ensuring a high-quality product that delivers measurable value. This role is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, data-driven, and passionate about owning and driving a product forward. You’ll have the freedom and responsibility to lead with autonomy, acting as a strategic leader who steers the direction of the product with a relentless focus on quality, impact, and customer satisfaction.

This role centers on managing campground listings and partnerships while also overseeing a diverse portfolio of campground-related and publishing products. This role will further support our publishing initiatives, ensuring that these products meet business goals and deliver value to our customers. Your ability to manage and deliver across these product lines will be key to driving success and innovation across the company.

This position is hybrid out of our Lincolnshire, IL offices or downtown Chicago, IL offices. Remote candidates will be considered with up to 25% travel.

What You'll Do:

Product Ownership & Vision: Take full ownership of the product from ideation through launch and ongoing improvement, developing a clear vision and strategic roadmap that aligns with company goals.

• Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data and analytics to inform all aspects of the product development process, including feature prioritization, roadmap adjustments, and product iterations. Regularly analyze product performance and customer feedback to refine strategy.

• Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including marketing, sales, development, and customer support, to ensure that the product aligns with business objectives and delivers value to customers.

• Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay deeply informed on market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to guide the product strategy and ensure it remains competitive.

• Roadmap & Planning: Develop, maintain, and communicate a clear, prioritized product roadmap, balancing business objectives with customer needs and technical feasibility.

• Feature Definition & Prioritization: Translate strategic goals into specific product features, ensuring that the team works on high-impact initiatives. Balance short term deliverables with long-term strategic goals.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment toward shared product goals. Facilitate clear communication and problem-solving across departments.• Customer-Centric Focus: Continuously advocate for the customer, ensuring that user feedback and customer satisfaction data are integrated into product decisions.

• Execution & Accountability: Take ownership of the entire product development process, from concept to release. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality features and product launches, meeting or exceeding expectations.

• Iterative Improvement: Post-launch, analyze product performance and feedback, identifying areas for improvement and quickly implementing changes to enhance user experience and business impact.

What’s Needed For Success:

5+ years of product management experience in ecommerce or digital solutions.

Data driven, strategic decision making.

Inspirational leadership, challenging teams to be creative and innovative about problem solving.

Strong product leadership skills that have others seeking your guidance.

An advocate for the consumer who is both strategic and invested in the details.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Experience with Agile methodologies and working closely with development teams.

Experience with product management tools (Jira, Confluence) and product analytics platforms.

Ability to work autonomously, taking initiative and driving projects with minimal guidance.

Proven ability to own and drive all aspects of the product lifecycle, from strategy and planning to execution and iteration.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to drive product decisions and improvements.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Pay Range:

$89,565.00-$134,295.00 Annual
