Digital Product Manager – Retail
**Role Overview:** The **Digital** **Product Manager** **–** **Retail** will be responsible for the strategy, development, and optimization of the CampingWorld.com, Overtons.com, and thehouse.com online store. You will manage the product roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and leverage data to improve user experience, drive conversions, and ensure our digital store meets the evolving needs of our customers. As the retail product manager for Camping World you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our e-commerce platform and helping grow our digital presence in the outdoor and RV space. **Key Responsibilities:** + **E-Commerce Strategy & Roadmap** : Lead the development and execution of the digital e-commerce strategy for CampingWorld.com. Own the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and brand objectives. Prioritize initiatives that improve the customer journey and maximize revenue growth. + **Customer Experience** : Collaborate with design, UX/UI, and development teams to create an intuitive and seamless online shopping experience for customers. Continuously optimize site features, navigation, search functionality, product pages, and checkout processes to improve usability and drive conversions. + **Site Performance & Analytics** : Monitor and analyze site performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and bounce rates. Use A/B testing, heatmaps, and customer feedback to inform decisions and continuously optimize the online shopping experience. + **Cross-Functional Collaboration** : Work closely with retail, marketing, customer service, IT, and operations teams to ensure successful execution of e-commerce initiatives. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to communicate requirements, timelines, and priorities. + **Innovation & Trends** : Stay up-to-date on e-commerce industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer expectations. Drive innovation and propose new features, tools, and functionality to improve customer engagement, loyalty, and overall e-commerce performance. + **Data-Driven Decision Making** : Utilize data to make informed product decisions. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for website performance, customer engagement, and product success. Regularly report progress and insights to senior leadership, making recommendations for optimization. + **Content & SEO Optimization** : Work with the content and marketing teams to ensure the digital store is optimized for search engines, utilizing SEO best practices to improve organic traffic and product visibility. **Qualifications:** + **Experience** :5 years of experience in product management, specifically in retail e-commerce or digital product management. Previous experience in the outdoor, camping, or RV industries is a plus but not required. + **E-Commerce Expertise** : Deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, conversion optimization, customer journey mapping, and digital merchandising. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.) and integrations is preferred. + **Analytical Skills** : Strong ability to analyze website performance data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Experience with Google Analytics, A/B testing, customer behavior analytics, and related tools is required. + **Customer-Centric Focus** : Passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience and a keen understanding of user behavior, needs, and pain points. Ability to think strategically while maintaining a focus on delivering tangible business outcomes. + **Technical Acumen** : Familiarity with e-commerce platform architecture, CMS systems, and e-commerce integrations (payment gateways, inventory management systems, etc.). Ability to work effectively with technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions. + **Problem-Solving** : Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in fast-paced environments. Ability to identify issues and implement solutions that align with both customer needs and business objectives. **Strong preference is for this role to be hybrid out of our Lincolnshire, IL offices.
