Lead the Product Team, facilitating collaboration among Product Management, UX Design, and Development, managing internal and external relationships. With a passion for excellent customer experiences, the PO empathizes with user challenges and has strong instincts about consumer behavior and business dynamics. We are seeking a customer-obsessed, results-driven Product Owner to lead the evolution of our Point-of-Sale (POS) system. In this role, you will act as the "voice of the customer" by gathering feedback, prioritizing features based on business value, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include managing the product backlog, working closely with developers and partners, and ensuring that the POS system meets both business needs and industry standards while delivering a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments and is recognized for being a standout colleague with strong communication skills at all levels. **Responsibilities** + Own and drive the POS product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. + Ingest business strategy, prioritize the backlog based on value and impact, and manage delivery of products on behalf of customers and partners. + Engage closely with retail operations, finance, loss prevention, and IT teams to ensure POS capabilities align with broader business initiatives. + Stay informed about emerging POS solutions, industry trends, and customer needs to encourage adaptability. + Serve as the primary point of contact for the product team, addressing questions from partners and team members. + Define and scope technical and functional requirements for seamless associate and customer interactions across OMS, CRM, loyalty programs, and payment processing. + Communicate business value and outcomes to key partners and executives. + Drive innovation in mobile POS (mPOS), self-checkout, and contactless payment solutions to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. + Work closely with tech teams to translate business needs into clear user stories, prioritize backlog refinement, and drive agile execution while balancing technical debt and feature velocity. + Collaborate with the Development Team to stay aligned with sprint goals and coordinate with other Product Teams and the Enterprise Exceleration Office to manage dependencies. + Foster a strong agile team and encourage continuous improvement through key agile metrics. + Leverage data, analytics, and A/B testing to support continuous product improvement and measure results. + Develop real-time reporting and analytics capabilities to track POS performance, sales trends, and operational insights, driving data-driven decision-making. + Identify and measure critical metrics to track product performance, adjusting strategies based on data insights, and report results to partners. + Manage third-party solutions and relationships, ensuring effective contract negotiations, SLAs, and scalability to meet long-term business needs. + Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, EMV, and data protection regulations, working closely with security and compliance teams. + Recruit, train, and lead **Product Analysts** to uphold platform standards. + Lead the stabilization and continuous enhancement of the POS platform post-migration, ensuring smooth transition, adoption, and iterative improvements. + Continuously evolve processes to improve speed, quality, agility, and flexibility for the platform and the enterprise. Ensure platform stability and operational integrity through on-call rotations and defect triage, while maintaining SLAs. Qualifications + 7+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in technology product management, digital operations, agile project management, or a related function + 5+ years effectively leading teams or directly managing associates, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing priorities + 3+ years Agile SDLC experience, including working in Agile environments such as Scrum or SAFe + Strong technical understanding of software applications, integrations, and APIs, with the ability to translate technical details to non-technical partners + Experience partnering with and managing 3rd party vendors for software platforms or enterprise systems + Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills across technology teams, business partners, and end-users + Experience working cross-functionally with business stakeholders (e.g., operations, finance, and IT teams) to align technology capabilities with business needs + General business and financial acumen, with the ability to assess platform ROI and operational efficiencies + High curiosity, problem-solving, and learning orientation **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with POS system implementations, migrations, or upgrades, ideally with Oracle POS and/or JumpMind Commerce POS + Knowledge of retail technology ecosystems, including POS, payment processing, order management systems (OMS), and inventory management + Understanding of POS-related compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, EMV, data security best practices) + Experience integrating POS with customer loyalty programs, mobile payments, self-checkout, and omnichannel retail strategies + Jira and/or Confluence experience for product backlog management and documentation + Experience in fast-paced direct retail and/or e-commerce, or consulting environments + Diverse work experience and background in retail technology, payments, or digital commerce + Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or a related field **Core Competencies** + Lead with Curiosity & Humility + Build High Performing Teams for Today & Tomorrow + Influence & Inspire with Vision & Purpose + Observe, Engage & Connect + Strive to Achieve Operational Excellence + Deliver Business Results **Benefits** Bath & Body Works associates are the heart of our business.
