Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity We have an opportunity for a Digital Product Owner to join our SmartAuction Digital Product team. This role will be responsible for helping to strategize, guide development work, and implement solutions that power the SmartAuction web pages and mobile experiences. They will represent the partners of the product, own the business/partner relationship, the backlog, the User Stories, and the priorities of work. They will strive to understand the business goals while anticipating their needs and comprehending the product’s VOC. You will need to be in regular contact with the Product Management team.
To read more about what our tech team does, be sure to visit our tech blog at ally.tech The Work Itself Serve as a Product Owner for a dedicated development team which includes: Translate business goals into functional strategies and tactical user stories for the development team to implement Articulate user stories with clear business value & well-defined acceptance test criteria Groom and prioritize the backlog Create & define the product vision and strategy Manage the team roadmap Assess impact of new features and initiatives by understanding the customer needs, the users, the marketplace, the competition, and future trends. Understand and analyze VOC for use in application feature development. Anticipate, identify, and respond to problems and issues related to specific products. Lead the product design process to build out customer journey maps and user story maps. Remains engaged in all steps of the sprint, deployment, and release process, including business validation/testing and participation in regularly scheduled technology releases. Manage design/site updates through the Legal, Risk, Compliance review process. Work with analytics to define digital reporting requirements. Develop strategies and work plans for accomplishing goals. Responsible for being accessible and available; actively engaged with commitment to build the best product possible. The Skills You Bring Minimum BA/BS degree or applicable work experience. Experience in digital or financial services. Experience as a Product Owner.  Hands on experience with agile. Effective communication & negotiation skills across all levels of the organization and a spirit of building strong business and team partnerships are essential, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people and presenting ideas and concepts across all levels, both inside and external to the organization. High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability. Ability to balance multiple requests and competing priorities. Candidate must be highly adaptable and experienced driving results in a dynamic, fast paced, cross-functional environment. Self-sufficient & collaborative teammate with desire to have fun within a result-driven organization Strong PC skills required: Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency are a requirement Experience with web analytics tools a plus (Adobe, Google)

Base Pay Range: $85000 - $150000 USDAn individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.  Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
