**PURPOSE:**
Join our team to lead the creation of CareFirsts next-generation Integration Platform, seamlessly blending API-first design with a product-based approach to advance our cloud-native strategy. CareFirst is undertaking a digital transformation which requires enterprise agility paired with the retooling of our technology stack to speed-up delivery and to expand our reach. The organization is leading this charge by advancing our Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) ways of working across the organization. To drive this transformation, the Digital Product Manager is a key role within the Integration & Interoperability team that drives overall platform functionality, roadmap, features, funding, and priorities aligned to strategy.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
+ Aligns platform functionality and roadmap with the overarching business strategy, ensuring that product development supports organizational goals and drives growth.
+ Develops and manages a clear, actionable product roadmap that prioritizes high-impact features, initiatives, and improvements based on business needs and market demands.
+ Defines, refines, and oversees the execution of platform features that enhance user experience and functionality, while managing platform product owners to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
+ Secures the necessary funding and resources to support platform initiatives, optimizing ROI by making strategic decisions on resource allocation.
+ Works closely with engineering teams to understand technical constraints, ensuring the feasibility of platform outcomes and addressing potential challenges early in the development process.
+ Own and align KPIs with product goals (user adoption, transaction volume, customer satisfaction), track progress, guide decisions, and ensure product teams deliver measurable value.
+ Articulates the platforms value proposition to clients, internal and external business partners, and key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of the platforms benefits and impact.
+ Support team growth through training, skill enhancement and opportunities for professional development.
+ Partner with change management organization to drive user adoption and engagement.
+ Inspire and guide team members through coaching, mentorship, and by fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
+ Establish clear goals, provide regular feedback, and foster an environment of accountability and excellence for team members.
+ Builds product management discipline by defining best practices, playbook, templates, and tooling for teams to use.
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:**
This position has direct reports and may informally lead teams in a matrix environment.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
**Experience Level:** 5 years experience leading matrix digital product management teams utilizing agile development methodologies with 2 years translating business strategy into digital product roadmaps. 1 year supervisory experience or demonstrated progressive leadership.
**Preferred Qualifications** :
+ Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
+ Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
+ SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM)
+ Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI ACP)
+ Previous healthcare experience
+ Advanced Degree
**Education:** Bachelor's Degree Education Details: Business, computer Science or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
**Licenses/Certifications Upon Hire Preferred:**
+ Certified Scrum Product Owner
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)** :
+ Knowledgeable in Lean Agile values, principles, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), with a strong understanding of their application in project execution.
+ Deep expertise in healthcare technology platforms and features along with associated business processes (e.g. claims, prior authentication, customer engagement).
+ Experienced in defining and building product roadmaps, aligning with business goals, and negotiating with stakeholders to meet priorities.
+ Demonstrates clear accountability for program success, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
+ Skilled in Product Ownership, DevOps practices, and Test Automation to ensure quality, scalability, and efficient delivery of solutions.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
+ A self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple competing priorities in dynamic environments.
+ Proficient in organizing data and creating metrics, reports, and dashboards to track performance and inform decision-making.
+ Expertise in Microsoft Office, industry-standard Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, JIRA Align) and leveraging them for project tracking and team collaboration.
+ Capable of driving change at various levels, managing conflicts constructively, and ensuring alignment with team and organizational goals.
+ Provides exceptional customer service, managing demands from both internal and external stakeholders while maintaining service excellence standards.
+ Ability to conduct technical demos for end users.
**Salary Range:** $121,840 - $226,166
