What you will do: 

Craft and implement a comprehensive vision, strategy, and roadmap for Quality Assurance (QA) and Release Management spanning diverse software platforms Foster an environment focused on continual enhancement, prioritizing advanced testing techniques, process automation, and software quality improvements Establish scalable and efficient QA processes, tools, and frameworks tailored to thrive in dynamic and high-velocity environments Manage all phases of the QA lifecycle, from planning test strategies and executing test cases to tracking defects and ensuring quality benchmarks are met Guarantee thorough testing across applications, incorporating functional, regression, performance, security, and scalability assessments Deploy and optimize automated testing solutions to streamline processes and improve speed and precision Regularly evaluate and share key metrics, such as defect rates and customer impact, to drive informed decisions and quality enhancements Work in close partnership with DevOps teams to synchronize QA operations with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure Align QA and release strategies with organizational goals by working closely with Application and Operations teams Continuously explore advancements in QA methodologies, tools, and best practices to remain at the forefront of industry standards Introduce innovative solutions that enhance software quality, testing automation, and test management practices Promote a mindset focused on innovation and evolution, ensuring QA processes are future-ready and competitive Direct the planning, coordination, and execution of software release cycles across multiple product/software portfolios Develop structured release workflows to ensure timely and dependable updates to production systems Work in close partnership with DevOps teams to synchronize QA and release operations with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure Identify, collect, manage required data for measured SLAs and other product release related metrics Baseline and qualitatively be able measure quality improvements across releases

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in computer science, engineering, or closely related field 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including at least five years in management or leadership Proven track record in driving and managing large-scale QA projects for complex software systems Deep understanding of testing methodologies, both manual and automated, along with expertise in tools, frameworks, and QA workflows Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines/ DevOps methodologies Strong leadership skills, with a history of building and mentoring successful teams in fast-paced environments Exceptional abilities in communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 - $155,000 + bonus in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
