Description:

The Digital Sales Manager is responsible for banking and payment business (BPS) in Philippines for Thales Digital and Identity Security (DIS) Global Business Unit (GBU).  BPS customers are in financial institutions, neobank/ fintechs and retail industry segments.  The Digital Sales Manager act as customer advocate and work with internal teams to ensure that client needs are understood and fulfilled. The Digital Sales Manager is in charge of winning new sales, oversight execution and delivery of Thales goods and services, handle complaints, collecting and analyzing data and improving the overall customer experience.

Position within organisation  : 

The Digital Sales Manager reports directly to BPS Country Sales Manager Philippines within BPS organization in AMEA.

Missions and Responsibilities :

Accountable in meeting and exceeding digital sales revenue goals for the market.Identify, develop and win new digital sales opportunities, acquire thorough understanding of customer needs by proposing all BPS offer that meet their objectives.Thorough understanding of markets, customers, and competitors in order to identify opportunities and drive sales.Build and promote strong and long term customer relationships by understanding their needs.Conduct market research, trends, competitors and customer analysis.Extensive knowledge of digital sales processes, digital platforms, technical markets, pricing models, channels of distribution, technology trends, and customer buying patterns.Manage complete and complex sales-cycles with multiple stakeholdersResolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trustServe as the link of communication between customers and internal teamsExpand current contract with new services / new use casesMaintain the customer satisfaction level to ensure successful contract renewalsConduct regular account plan and develop strategic long-term relationship with key customers

Qualifications

Proven experience as digital sales/ account manager in banking and payment industryBackground in the payment processing industry with min. 5 (five) year experience as account management on payment processing segment, and/or digital payment transaction domainAn existing knowledge of the digital payment eco-system and stakeholders in Philippines is strongly preferred.Existing network with banks in the Philippines and key decision makers is a key advantage.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability in building relationships with professionals of all organization levelsExcellent organization skillsAbility in problem-solving and negotiationBachelor's in Business Management, sales or marketing fieldHave a good understanding of technically complex products/servicesWillingness to be involved in detail to ensure customer satisfactionSound commercial knowledge, including oral and written presentation, risk management, legal contracts, price negotiation, strategic sales and marketing planning and other topics, distinct customer understanding and the ability to close complex negotiationsFluent in written and spoken English language mandatory
