FOX 56 based in Lexington, Kentucky is currently in search of a Digital Sales Specialist to work closely with the FOX 56 Sales Team in selling the most impactful digital media in the market, such as:

FOX56News.comOTT & Streaming, Display, Pre-Roll, SMM, SEM, SEO, YouTube, various other 3rd party digital products

The Digital Sales Specialist works within established Sales Department guidelines to maximize digital revenue opportunities in the market.  The Digital Sales Specialist will also work closely with sales management to fulfill processes and workflow for order entry, traffic, reporting, and analytics. The DSS is also responsible for collaborating with the sales team in a variety of functions to enhance the sales process and facilitate the delivery and success of digital marketing campaigns for FOX 56 clientele.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Work with Sales Management and Account Executives to generate digital revenueDigital order entry & updatesLiaises between sales & production teams for developing marketing creative for clients, such as display banners, videos, emails, and other marketing materialCorresponds with customers and confers with coworkers to answer inquiries and account managementPrepares forms and ad campaign reportsMaintains files and other business recordsAssist sales executives with all aspects of the digital sales process including, but not limited to: Training, Order Entry, Campaign Monitoring and Coordination, Creative Requests, Creative Trafficking, Reporting, & AnalyticsAssist management with aspects of the digital sales operation including, but not limited to: Training, Digital Sales Materials, Campaign pacing, Campaign Coordination, Campaign Performance Metrics, Communication with both internal and external teamsAssists with station contesting and sweepstakesOther duties as assigned

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:  

BA or BS in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications preferredFoundational knowledge of various digital marketing strategies including SEM, SEO, Social, Display, Video, OTT, Mobile and Addressable Solutions, Email and Digital AudioExperience in digital marketing coordination or media sales preferredSignificant knowledge of the local digital marketing services product offering and effective use for clientsMotivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who can work effectively collaborating in a team environmentExcellent critical thinking & problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Design software ability a plus.Experience with Wide Orbit, Monarch, ComScore, Nielsen, & Vivvix are a plus.IAB and/or Google AdWords Certification a plus.Automotive & database digital marketing experience is also a plus.Excellent follow-up, strong organizational skills and attention to detailSelf-motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who can work effectively both independently and collaborating in a team environmentFluency in English; with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
