It is a major academic and referral center with Level I adult and Level II pediatric trauma designations. Job SummaryResponsible for indexing and digitally scanning all paperwork submitted to the Beaumont Laboratory by its clients. Primary functions include reprinting barcode labels, sorting paperwork, scanning documents, and filing documents for short and long storage needs.Essential FunctionsDigitally scan and index patient/client documents for department retrieval.Reprint barcode labels to prepare documents for scanning.Sort and file patient/client documents per department needs.Maintain digital imaging hardware systems.Assist in resolving client complaints/concerns as relates to finding scanned requisitions.Assist Beaumont Laboratory and IT in determining system downtimes and maintenance.Participates in:Q.I./process improvements, data collection, QC documentation, and/or CAP surveys as applicable to the assigned department.

Friend-at-Work program and assists in training new hires as applicable/assigned
