We are hiring a DS Print GBU Finance lead, focused on providing the financial support to the Print Product Team within the Digital Services Division. The WS organization is a high-growth strategic priority of the company. It spans across the Personal Systems and Print segments and covers an eco-system of services, hardware, and supplies in the commercial and small & medium business space. As the world transforms the way it works through hybrid and alternative workflows, this role presents an opportunity to be a part of driving the change and creating profitable growth for HP. This role will focus on supporting the creation of a new Software offering, working closely on the investment business case.
We are looking for an experienced finance professional who understands SaaS Business Models. Need well rounded business finance experience and strong data and quantitative analysis plus solid proved project management record. Consolidating & distilling complex financial interdependencies into digestible, explainable, and actionable outcomes will be key to success in this role. The candidate’s critical thinking ability, judgement and experience will be important in the role. They will provide financial advisory and consulting on processes, deals and various other key initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Be the main point of contact for any Financial related topic for the DS Print Software offerings
Works closely with Business team supporting business strategy and transformation of the business towards Software/Service/SaaS business model
Understand the new offerings, timings, secured revenue and orders needed to achieve the current year flash
ROI analysis
Fair Value allocation methodologies
Ensure compliance with GAAP with the setup of the offer.
Uses KPI’s and SaaS metrics to provide business insights
Drive business decisions based on metrics and data
Provides the most complex financial analyses and displays deep understanding of business to convey best method for achieving objectives and “telling the story”
Education and Experience Required:
First level university degree with a focus in finance and/or accounting; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred
Big 4 experience in combination with 10+ years experience as a financial analyst
Experienced in a variety of finance functions: public accounting, auditing, controllership, financial analysis, business planning; possessing an established HP network across these teams is a big plus
Understanding sources of HP financial data, how to access it, and how to data mine it is a huge plus
Experience working with cross functional teams; possess broad internal network, especially CFR, RAR, IMO, Markets Finance, Global Trade
Experience developing, tracking, analyzing SaaS financial metrics
Experience with business transformation, from hardware to software, or from perpetual to SaaS business model
Operational experience in Software and/or SaaS business

The base pay range for this role is $104,800 to $158,250 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
