**Digital Solution Lead**
This position works directly with the Resource Industries Digital strategy owner and the execution teams to define requirements, design solutions, and execute digital projects in the space of engineering and manufacturing.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Support the implementation of prioritized Digital Projects to the newly created Digital MGPP utilizing solutions like the Enterprise Factory Data Lake, the Engineering Data Lake, and IITO enabled solutions.
+ Identify and merge data sources to provide a safe source for connected business intelligence reporting.
+ Use data quality practices to ensure the integrity of the enterprise data being used.
+ Lead collaborative workshop sessions.
+ Create presentations for leaders and stakeholders to influence direction.
+ Communicate business and financial analysis of digital programs.
+ Plan and manage multiple complex projects.
**What You Have:**
+ **Analytical Thinking –** knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis with the ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternate solutions that resolve these problems.
+ **Effective Communication –** understand effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques with the ability to effectively transmit, receive, and interpret ideas, and information. This includes creating and presenting stakeholder reviews monthly to senior leadership.
+ **Project Management –** familiar with project management methodologies and techniques with the ability to apply and manage large scale digital programs. These MGPP programs will have several concurrent projects running at one time and this role will coordinate budget, resources, and issue resolution.
+ **Technical Solution Design –** knowledge of technologies and methods to design processing mechanisms and roadmaps to execute business data systems with the ability to design these roadmaps and deploy for end user access in accordance with standards and processes.
+ **Requirements Analysis –** knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis with the ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functional requirements to ensure the success of the data solution project.
+ **Business Process Understanding** – be able to lead whiteboarding sessions to map out specific business process and translate that process into data sources, tables, and fields to be used in the solution design.
+ **Business Collaboration** – be able to drive requirements sessions at an enterprise level with 2 or more segments represented. This includes driving a common strategy that solves different issues for different segments
**Additional Information** :
+ Primary location preference is Peoria, IL, Decatur, IL or Dallas, TX, but placement within an existing Caterpillar location will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

**Education / Experience:** Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

**Summary Pay Range:**
$110,520.00 - $165,840.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
