Digital Solutions Architect
Digital Solutions Architect  Siemens Industry is seeking a Digital Transformation Architect for our Mexico operations in Monterrey and Juarez. This person will be responsible for the alignment and pursuit of digitalization and automation projects across the business. They must drive the business to implement technology with a purpose; ensuring that each solution not only fits technically but has a measurable positive impact on the business. They will work with a variety of other roles, including engineers, planners, manufacturing, and quality. A strong ability to influence and communicate effectively are required. This role is part of the 'Digital Transformation Solutions' (DTS) group within the Siemens Electrical Products group. DTS supports all operations for the Electrical Products group within North America.   Typical Activities: • Align and drive the digital roadmap with the local teams• Work with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs, identify paths to improvement, and communicate the vision• Discover solutions that work well within local requirements and fit within the enterprise ecosystem• Software Installation\Configuration\Troubleshooting• User Training• Testing• Applying Patches and Upgrades• Integrations with enterprise systems. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS• 3-5 years of experience (Manufacturing Engineering focus).• Project Management• Lead mid to large scale projects across the Mexican region of the business• Leadership by influence is a required skill, as you will rarely have project team members under your direct organization• Business Analyst• Use business KPI's to identify opportunities for improvement• Calculate business impact as a result of a technology deployment• Solution architecture• Must have experience working with Manufacturing process, including working with a Manufacturing Execution systems and ERP systems• Work with the business to design a solution made up of multiple systems interfacing with one another• Drive existing standards and create new ones when needed• Scope projects to implement new technology and to enhance existing technology• Process engineering• Support• Technical expert on digital technologies for the business• Serve as the point person during production issues and as the advisor to system changes• IT• Familiarity with networking, pc  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• Experience in a make to stock production environment • Familiarity working with large PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and MES applications (Manufacturing Execution Systems)• Understanding of software development• Working knowledge of SAP, material masters and routings• Lean manufacturing• Siemens PLC programming with TIA portal• Modern material and warehouse technologies is a plus• Fluent in English and Spanish  This position will be 80% at factory minimum, 20% home officeThis position will require 25% travel
