Digital Strategic Account Manager

WBRE 28 (NBC) & WYOU 22 (CBS) are in search of a Strategic Account Manager (SAM). This position will play an integral role with our Sales Team and focus primarily on Digital Sales, Digital Media Strategy and Digital Execution.  As lead digital specialist, you will coordinate with our Sales Managers and Director of Sales to meet our overall digital revenue goals.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Work with Director of Sales and General Manager to develop complex sales strategies and break them down into simple, understandable conceptsWork with Sales Management and Account Executives to generate digital revenueDevelop media strategies for growth based on advertiser goalsIdentify strong prospecting categories and assist the sales team with compelling talk tracks that get their foot in the doorPerform in-depth data analysis to deliver actionable insights & recommendationsEvaluate KPIs and optimize campaign performanceLead and direct activities of the integrated digital specialist and digital sales coordinatorDrive new business development and active account growthBuild and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partnerLiaise between sales & production teams for developing marketing creative for clients, such as in banner video display, videos, emails, and other marketing materialAssist sales executives with all aspects of the digital sales process including, but not limited to: Training, Order Entry, Campaign Monitoring and Coordination, Creative Requests, Creative Trafficking, Reporting, & AnalyticsAssist management with aspects of the digital sales operation including, but not limited to: Training, Digital Sales Materials, Campaign pacing, Campaign Coordination, Campaign Performance Metrics, Communication with both internal and external teamsOther duties as assigned

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:  

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, or Communications preferredMinimum three years of digital sales experience with digital sales management experience a plusFoundational knowledge of various digital marketing strategies including SEM, SEO, Social, Display, Video, OTT, Mobile and Addressable Solutions, Email and Digital Audio IS A MUST.Experience in digital video strategy, with an emphasis on streaming television (OTT, CTV).Ability to identify developmental needs of others and coach, mentor or otherwise help others improve their knowledge and skillsSignificant knowledge of local digital marketing services product offerings and effective use for clientsMotivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who can work effectively collaborating in a team environmentExcellent critical thinking & problem-solving skillsAble to multi-task and handle several projects at a time.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Design software ability a plus.Experience with Wide Orbit, Monarch (Matrix), ComScore, Nielsen are a plus.IAB and/or Google AdWords Certification a plus.Automotive & database digital marketing experience is also a plus.Excellent follow-up, strong organizational skills and attention to detailFluency in English; with excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenValid Driver’s License
