The Digital Strategist is responsible for helping to create strategic digital media plans on behalf of Rise clients. The Digital Strategist is responsible for placing, confirming and monitoring digital media orders to ensure the clients’ advertising program is executed flawlessly.
Key Responsabilites:
Support internal clients in launching and maintaining campaigns on behalf of Quad media clientsAssist in development of media strategy and recommendation and helping with elements of client presentationsCommunication of the roles of different digital channels within a Connections StrategyProactively lead campaign build to ensure flawless execution of assigned media buysManagement and confirmation of vendor media ordersPrimary focus on digital operations and quality assurance for all campaign launch/modificationsAnalyze and interpret data trends and develop improvement solutions; educate key stakeholders internally and externally on changes to process and reoccurring issuesMonitor campaign performance through regular delivery reporting, ensuring buys are properly executed and troubleshoot issues that ariseCollaborate with leadership and peers to develop solutions that will enhance our operational efficiency, tools, and systems, and improve current workflowsRepresent Rise to vendor reps to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles/tactics for plan considerationJob Requirements:
Understanding of digital media platform management tools. Experience with Google Marketing Platform, Google Ads, The Trade Desk and Facebook Business ManagerUnderstanding of the importance of programmatic, paid social and paid search within the media planKnowledge of the different ways digital media is boughtExpertise in identifying and forecasting emerging trends in the digital marketing ecosystemAbility to convert and implement strategic plans into tactical executionsAbility to work with a team to think strategically and act tactically in order to align Quad's services with customer needsAbility to pull/interpret data and provide campaign insightsEducation: Bachelor's degree (communications, marketing, advertising or business)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in digital media planning, buying or execution
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Any certificates in Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, Google Analytics, The Trade Desk Edge, Facebook Blueprint, Microsoft Ads and IAB Digital Media Planning & Buying a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal departments, external vendors, and all levels of the organizationStrong analytical capabilities with aptitude for determining the optimal ways to setup, deliver, troubleshoot, and QA campaigns.While this role is posted as remote, preference will be given to candidates based in the Chicago market, Minneapolis and Dallas.
