Digital & Technology Director

The Digital & Technology Director for Pizza Hut Canada will play a critical role in shaping and executing the digital and technology strategy for the organization. This position will drive customer experience enhancements, operational efficiencies, and technological innovation across all digital and technology platforms. The Digital & Technology Director will lead digital and AI transformation initiatives, oversee technology infrastructure, and align tech strategies with overall business goals and Pizza Hut International Operating Markets (PHIOM) Digital & Technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Digital and Technology Initiatives to Deliver on Market Growth: Lead and execute the end-to-end digital transformation for Pizza Hut Canada, ensuring alignment with global PHIOM priorities Develop and implement customer-centric digital solutions, including mobile apps, e-commerce platforms, loyalty programs, and AI-driven personalization Champion the adoption of AI, automation, and data-driven insights to enhance customer experiences and optimize operations Franchisee & Business Engagement: Collaborate closely with franchise partners to drive the adoption of Pizza Hut and Yum! digital and technology platforms Build and present commercial business cases to franchisees, demonstrating the value and ROI of digital initiatives Serve as the key technology advisor for franchise partners, ensuring seamless integration of technology into their operations Technology Infrastructure & Security: Ensure a secure, scalable, and resilient technology infrastructure that supports business growth and operational excellence Maintain and enforce robust cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with local and global security standards Oversee third-party technology partnerships and vendor relationships to optimize cost efficiency and service delivery Collaboration with Global & Regional Teams: Work closely with Pizza Hut International Operating Markets’ (PHIOM) Digital & Technology teams to align on strategic priorities Contribute to global innovation initiatives, sharing best practices and insights from the Canadian market Participate in cross-functional collaborations with marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure technology solutions align with business goals Digital Product & Customer Experience Innovation: Lead efforts to enhance e-commerce, delivery, and in-store technology solutions, ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience Identify and implement emerging technology trends, including AI, robotics, automation, and advanced analytics Develop and drive data-driven decision-making, leveraging insights to optimize marketing, operations, and customer engagement People Leadership & Organizational Change: Lead and develop a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and agility Drive change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of digital initiatives across all levels of the organization Serve as a key influencer and thought leader within the Canada Leadership Team (LT), advocating for digital transformation

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in leading digital and technology transformations within a consumer-facing, multi-unit business Strong understanding of digital commerce, AI, automation, and data analytics Experience in managing multi-million-dollar technology projects and contracts Strong grasp of cybersecurity best practices, IT governance, and compliance frameworks Ability to influence and collaborate with franchise partners, corporate stakeholders, and global teams Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to build business cases and drive ROI-focused digital strategies Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills Strategic thinker with a growth mindset, passionate about leveraging technology for competitive advantage Hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment Passionate about improving customer and team experiences through digital solutions

Salary Range: $140,800 - $183,000 annually + bonus eligibility and stock-based compensation. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
