We are looking for a driven Digital Technology Lead - Data Solutions & Services who is a strong innovator-problem solver with a passion for enabling companies to get more out of their data, to join our Digital Technologies’ Data Enablement team, based in our Brussels (Anderlecht) office, Belgium.

 

About the role

You will be working in a team that drives data innovation to power our digital business transformation. This global role owns the landscape of data solutions and services from defining to operating them, to enable safe, efficient, and compliant data usage across UCB. You will build and execute a long-term roadmap, work with diverse DT teams, and ensure our data capabilities evolve to meet business needs.

 

Who You’ll Work With

You will work within a team of highly skilled data and analytics enthusiasts, each with their own expertise, all working to manage and leveraging data across its wide variety of domains. The many types of data encountered in the biopharma context combined with innovation opportunities and unique challenges around regulations, provide a super exciting context where handling data efficiently can create a true competitive advantage. Your technical knowhow and ability to consider and deliver innovative data management solutions and processes will play a pivotal role in UCB’s sustained success.

 

What You’ll Do

Define, test and implement impactful digital solutions and services for the management and leveraging of data across domains and platformsManage the execution and operations of these services through the delivery teams and aim for continuously improvementIdentify and shape initiatives to bring new technical data capabilities to communities and technology platformsCollaborate with other DT teams of major digital business transformation initiatives on how to handle their technical data management challengesCollect future needs and requirements and prepare briefings and demos of opportunities for future innovation

 

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills

A degree in Computer Sciences, (Bio)Engineering, or a related scientific degreeAt least 5 years of experience of which 3 years in a context of data management, analytics platform management or technology consultingExperience in biopharma or other regulated industries are a plusAbility to motivate & lead, provide structure, and propose solutions to a variety of stakeholdersRelentless in quality and able to build trust and confidence through clear communication and collaborationYou thrive in a fast paced, challenging and always changing environment
