This Cyber Security Trainee position offers you the perfect opportunity to gain an insight into the various disciplines of BASF's cyber security organization. It is planned that you will work in the following teams as part of the trainee program:

Main Tasks:

- Complete quality assurance of delivered inputs; identify, investigate and report compliance issues, irregularities and violations
- Support product stakeholders in ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements
- Administer technically automated processes and identify areas of improvement or opportunities for optimization
- Ensure technical implementation and operationalization of cyber compliance reporting

Cyber Security Culture
- Optimize security awareness training materials based on the employee profile in the China region.
- Provide regular security training for company employees to enhance their security awareness.
- Using technical products to design and execute phishing simulations for employees.

Cyber Security Consulting
- Handle requests from our internal Business partners on security-related topics and forward them to the correct team in our organization who can help. Track progress of the requests
- Support business in following internal processes related to Cyber Security, such as Provider assessment or Compliance Self-Check

Application Security
- Guide application teams to integrate security testing solutions, such as SAST, SCA, DAST, etc., during the development process.
- Operate and enhance the centralized application security testing platform.
- Familiar with secure coding knowledge, providing suggestions for vulnerability fixes to the developers.

Job Requirements:

- You have successfully completed your degree in Cyber Security, Information technology or a comparable education
- 0-2 years’ working experiences
- Technical understanding and first experiences in the field of Cyber Security (infrastructure, networks, encryption, application development, cloud services,...)
- Reliability, flexibility, high motivation and service orientation
- Ability to exercise independent judgment in actions regarding company matters including identifying, maintaining, and directing confidential issues appropriately.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and to respond to constantly changing demands quickly and accurately from many sources.
- Must approach your area of responsibility in a goal-oriented and results-oriented manner and are characterized by their pronounced customer orientation, dedication, and determination
- Confident communication in Chinese and English, both spoken and written
