Digital Transformation - Automation Manager Requisition ID: 42483 Job Location(s): Oragadam, IN **Job Description** We are looking for an Automation & Digitalization Manager for the Global Competency Services(GCS) who will lead the strategy, development, and implementation of automation and digital transformation initiatives. This role focuses on driving efficiency, improving processes, and leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as AI, ML, PBI, Power app, power automate, VBA, SAP Scripting, Web application and data analytics to optimize business operations and enhance decision-making. **Job Responsibilities** + Identify, develop, and implement automation solutions using AI, ML, PBI, Power app, power automate, VBA, SAP Scripting, Web application to improve operational efficiency. + Drive process optimization and workflow automation across procurement, supply chain, sales, and customer service functions. + Work closely with business stakeholders to understand challenges and design scalable automation frameworks. + Develop and manage low-code/no-code solutions for rapid automation deployment. + Lead the digitalization strategy for GCS by identifying and implementing new digital tools, applications, and platforms. + Spearhead AI/ML projects for predictive analytics, lead scoring, and sentiment analysis to enhance business intelligence. + Monitor and track KPIs performance metrics. + Engage with key stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities for process improvement. + Act as a change agent by conducting training sessions and workshops on automation best practices. + Ensure seamless integration of automation solutions with existing business systems (SAP, ERP, CRM, etc.). + Ensure automation and digital solutions align with corporate policies, cybersecurity, and data privacy regulations. + Establish governance frameworks for automation initiatives and monitor compliance with IT security protocols. + Manage risks related to automation adoption and propose mitigation strategies. **Background & Skills** + Bachelor’s/master’s degree in, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field. + 8 - 10+ years of experience in automation, digital transformation, AI/ML, or data analytics. + Strong knowledge of automation tools (Power BI using DAX, Power Automate, Power app, Web application, SQL,) + Experience with AI/ML platforms (Python, TensorFlow, OpenAI, Azure AI, etc.). + Strong project management skills with experience in Agile, Scrum, or Six Sigma methodologies. + Disciplined approach to work and “Lead by Example” + Strong Business Partnering; energetic and should possess excellent communication skills + Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. + Strategic mindset with a focus on automation-driven business efficiency. + Analytical and problem-solving skills for complex data-driven decision-making. + Strong leadership & stakeholder management abilities to drive cross-functional collaboration. + Innovative thinking and adaptability to emerging technologies. + Excellent communication skills for influencing and training teams on automation adoption. **Danfoss – Engineering Tomorrow** At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
