Job Description

As a Technical Consultant, you will work in a client-facing role for established global clientele, helping them apply Digital Twin capabilities to challenging business problems. Our work provides unparalleled exposure to unique opportunities. The learning curve can be quite steep, but our team will help you build confidence and enable you to explore areas that are of interest to you. Our focus is on helping clients extract business value from cutting edge Digital Twin capabilities, not just on making the technology work. In this role you will help design, develop, and test solutions for a diverse set of clients in industries such as Manufacturing, Life Sciences, High Tech, Auto & Tire, Consumer Goods, and Warehousing & Logistics.

Your Responsibilities:Lead the development of simulation and virtual commissioning modelsRepresent us in attending industry/market events to build awareness within the industryMaintain awareness to technology and industry trends relevant to simulation and emulation and ensure the evolution of firm practices and technology usage based on observed trendsCreate and manage development backlog for client engagementsManage and assign junior engineers with tasks during client engagementsDevelop technical and functional specifications based on software design and performanceSupport the data modeling and requirements definition mappingEnsure quality of code by performing unit testing and code reviewsStatus reporting within DevOps toolsDevOps development and implementationProvide client support, including troubleshooting, software upgrades, and enhancementsEffective status reporting within the team and with the clients

The Essentials - You Will Have:4+ years of experience leading the implementation, validation and deployment of scalable simulation and emulation technology in an operational setting (specifically in industries of Manufacturing, Life Sciences, High Tech, Auto & Tire, Consumer Goods, and Warehousing & Logistics)Experience with Emulate3D, Sim3D/Demo3D, or equivalate industrial standard simulation and emulation (virtual commissioning) software4+ years of experience developing in any of the following Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, .NET, or relatedExperience in conducting technical evaluations of client infrastructure (e.g., automation control, equipment automation, sensors/instrumentation) and determining methods of conduction effective simulation and emulationExperience integrating emulation software with soft and physical controllersUnderstand the technical limitations of code emulation and can effectively convey such limitations to clientsCompetency in equipment design and developmentExperience designing and performing simulation experimentationThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:Competency in PLC programming (preferably Allen Bradley)Experienced understanding of business requirements and the process of translating them into well-engineered and integrated technical solutions; attention to detailUnderstanding of application architectureExperience using leading software development practices, technical documentation (requirements, functional specifications, test plans, etc.)
