**Description:**
The McAuley, West Hartford's premiere Life Care Plan Community is seeking a dedicated and experienced **Dining** **Service Supervisor** to oversee dining service operations and ensure a high-quality dining experience for our residents. This role is responsible for supervising dining staff, maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the dining area, and upholding excellent customer service standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Supervision & Leadership:** Oversee servers and dining staff to ensure efficient and courteous service.
+ **Training & Development:** Train new employees on serving procedures, customer service, and safety protocols.
+ **Service Excellence:** Ensure all meals are served promptly and according to resident dietary needs and preferences.
+ **Scheduling & Coordination:** Assist in staff scheduling and monitor attendance to maintain proper coverage.
+ **Quality Control:** Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room and kitchen areas.
+ **Resident Engagement:** Build relationships with residents to provide a personalized and welcoming dining experience.
+ **Compliance & Safety:** Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
+ **Problem-Solving:** Address and resolve resident concerns and staff issues in a professional manner.
**Qualifications & Requirements:**
+ Previous experience in food service, preferably in a supervisory role.
+ Strong leadership and communication skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
+ Knowledge of food safety regulations and customer service best practices.
+ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
