Highland Hills Retirement Village is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dining Service Supervisor to oversee dining service operations and ensure a high-quality dining experience for our residents. This role is responsible for supervising dining staff, maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the dining area, and upholding excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Leadership: Oversee servers and dining staff to ensure efficient and courteous service.Training & Development: Train new employees on serving procedures, customer service, and safety protocols.Service Excellence: Ensure all meals are served promptly and according to resident dietary needs and preferences.Scheduling & Coordination: Assist in staff scheduling and monitor attendance to maintain proper coverage.Quality Control: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room and kitchen areas.Resident Engagement: Build relationships with residents to provide a personalized and welcoming dining experience.Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.Problem-Solving: Address and resolve resident concerns and staff issues in a professional manner.Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous experience in food service, preferably in a supervisory role.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Knowledge of food safety regulations and customer service best practices.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.What Perks and Benefits Can You Look Forward to?
