At Pyramid Healthcare in Radford we specialize in Substance Use Disorder Treatment. Pyramid Healthcare Inc. has been in operations since 1999 and currently operate over 80 programs in 8 different states, offering a full continuum of high-quality behavioral health care for individuals suffering from substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and other behavioral health issues. Pyramid Healthcare’s Culinary Department is looking to hire creative and compassionate individuals who have true passion for food and impacting the lives of others. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for guiding and supervising food service operations during assigned shifts.
• Assists with the preparation, cooking and serving of food.
• Provides direction, training, and coaching to employees in collaboration with the Dining Services Supervisor.
• Ensures that standards are maintained for food quality and service.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment by complying with food safety procedures and guidelines.
• Conduct shift huddles to review standard work, prioritize tasks and encourage productivity.
• Assists with ordering and maintaining accurate food and supplies inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

Licensure, Education & Experience
• One year experience in food service preferred.
• Proven history of consistently performing at a high level in a team environment.
• Proven leadership ability and/or experience.
• Serv-Safe certified or be willing to obtain upon hire
