Job Description

As the Director, Digital Monetization & Strategic Partnerships you’ll lead comprehensive monetization strategies for Telemundo’s platforms and foster strong relationships that align with our overall business objectives and audience needs.

Job Duties:

Monetization: Identify and execute monetization opportunities across digital platforms, including Telemundo’s app, website, and others.Revenue growth: Identify and capitalize on new revenue opportunities, optimizing existing channels and exploring innovative approaches to drive growth while being responsive to marketplace conditions and the competitive landscape.Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including social media & streaming partners, to enhance revenue potential and expand our audience reach.Data-Driven Decision Making: Conduct thorough analyses of diverse data sources to measure the success of monetization efforts and strategic partnerships and drive continuous improvement.Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of monetization efforts and strategic partnerships, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including editorial, product, technology, design, marketing, research, legal, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful execution of monetization and partnership initiativesMarket Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform monetization and partnership strategies and stay ahead of industry trends.User Experience: Ensure that monetization strategies and strategic partnerships enhance the user experience without compromising content quality or audience engagement.Sponsorship Campaigns: Manage the setup, testing, and execution of new sponsorship campaigns across digital platforms, maximizing revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.5+ years of experience in digital monetization and strategic partnerships, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth in the streaming, media or entertainment industry.Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and team management skills.Proven ability to drive product strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment.In-depth knowledge of digital advertising, subscription models, and strategic partnerships.Proficient in MS Project, Power Point, ExcelExperience with various product types, including: websites and mobile development and design

Desired Characteristics:

Product and project manager training (ideal but not required).Experience with international markets and diverse content genres.Passion for staying ahead of industry trends and technological advancements.Proven success in cross-functional collaboration and team-building initiatives.Written and verbal Spanish literacy

Additional Requirements:

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
