Serves as Program Manager for the Army National Guard (ARNG) Military Funeral Honors (MFH) and Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) enterprise resourced by the National Guard Bureau (NGB) Soldier and Family Support Division (ARNGHRS). Responsible for overall successful program management, contract compliance, work performance, deliverable completion, supervision of Magellan Federal team/s, coordination with internal corporate-level stakeholders, and management of external stakeholder relationships. Serves as the principal liaison and advisor to NGB/ARNG Government officials.
+ Develops strong relationships with key operational customers and stakeholders. Acts as a single point of contact for the supported program.
+ Conducts performance reviews, quality planning and assessments. Provides corporate leadership and direction for the contract team. Ensures work sites are fully staffed with qualified, trained MFH and SOS Coordinators .
+ Practice intentional engagement to build and maintain strong relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.
+ Coordinates with corporate support departments to obtain support for administrative actions, including talent acquisition.
+ Utilizes appropriate product and project management and evaluation methodologies and tools to plan, execute, monitor and control project work plans and revise work streams to meet changing needs and requirements. Prepares deliverables and special reports as required.
+ Applies supervision and communication, management support, and quality controls to standardize services and establish evidence-based measures of effectiveness to document performance execution against contract performance requirements. Analyzes statistical data to monitor program trends and provide innovative ideas and strategies to improve the quality of support provided to service members, families, and survivors .
+ Attends meetings and participates in discussions at the request of the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
+ Conducts visits to program installations to provide additional program training, program assessments and relationship building/strengthening.
+ All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree required.
8+ years of experience in program management and delivery.
Prior military experience or experience with the military and familiarity with Government requirements, policies, and procedures.
Demonstrated leadership skills and effective organizational, time management, and communication skills, combined with attention to detail.
Experience overseeing and managing projects in military/government environments, functional support roles and collaborative interactions with military/government personnel.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and PDF applications. Advanced web-based communication skills required.
Superior writing, editing, analytical and proofreading abilities. Strong command of the English language required.
Well-developed skills in program management, communications, reporting, metric tracking and public relations.
Excels in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with an ability to maintain critical and strategic thinking and consultation skills. Flawless execution is a priority.
Proven ability to produce quantifiable business results.
Must be able to travel occasionally for approximately 3-5 days at a time to conduct site visits and/or meet with the customer.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
