Dir, Real Estate – Portfolio Planning

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the development and coordination of short-term and long-range strategic real estate plans, objectives and budgets based upon over-arching organizational goals and objectives. This position will support the Sr Director and VP in the development of feasibility studies, evaluation of viable alternatives and the refinement of Business Unit strategies involving the real estate footprint. The position may manage a group of Portfolio Planners.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the business partner relationship.Direct the strategic planning process and establish key processes.Proactively identify strategies to optimize Charter’s real estate portfolio.Collaborate with the Senior Director and Corporate Services’ leadership to develop and execute Charter’s regional and enterprise-wide real estate solutions.Implement and support short-term and long-range real estate planning activities for Charter including analytical evaluation of the portfolio.Develop recommendations based upon regional and enterprise-wide real estate knowledge for review by leadership of Business Units across the Company.Maintain regional and enterprise-wide market intelligence in order to capitalize on market opportunities as well as react to time sensitive projects and business initiatives.Serve as active business liaison with Business Units for enterprise-wide real estate solutions. Establish solid, effective connections within regional and corporate business groups.Develop and manage relationships with senior executives and leadership of partner groups.Effectively perform complex cost and feasibility analyses.Act as the initial point of contact for real estate planning activities for assigned business units.

Work independently and report to the Senior Director of Real Estate Portfolio Planning.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education

Bachelor’s in Real Estate, Business administration or at least 10 years in Corporate Real Estate experience

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

Real Estate Portfolio Management or Associated Discipline - 10+
Management experience - 8+

The base pay for this position generally is between $110,800.00 and $196,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
