With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system. *_Position Summary:_* Hartford HealthCare is seeking an experienced ITS Application Leader to oversee a portfolio of Finance & Supply Chain applications, lead the supporting team, and align ITS priorities with organizational goals. Reporting to the System Director of Enterprise Business Systems, this leader will manage application strategy, support, and enhancements while fostering collaboration and delivering impactful projects. The role requires deep ERP expertise, strong knowledge of finance and supply chain processes, and proven leadership in managing teams in complex environments, with healthcare industry experience and cloud ERP knowledge (e.g., Workday, Oracle ERP Cloud) highly preferred. The leader will manage staff in accordance with HR policies, serve as an H3W leadership role model, and act as a trusted advisor to organizational leaders, driving Enterprise Business System goals and representing the ITS department. *_Position Responsibilities:_* *Key Areas of Responsibility* 1. Collaborate closely with the System Director to establish and execute application strategies that align with organizational goals. Partner with leadership to ensure projects align with health system priorities. 2. Oversee the configuration, optimization, and support of the PeopleSoft Finance and Supply Chain modules 3. Lead project planning and management of financial and supply chain applications, ensuring alignment with AIPs/X-Matrices and organizational objectives. 4. Act as the primary IT point of contact for Finance and Supply Chain business units. Partner with the HCM Application Director to ensure seamless integration across finance, supply chain, and HCM functions. 5. Lead a team of application specialists and analysts, providing mentorship, setting performance goals, and supporting professional development. 6. Establish and track key metrics to measure operational success, drive continuous improvement, and ensure effective issue resolution. 7. Ensure applications are secure and compliant with healthcare and financial regulations and policies. 8. Lead implementation and support efforts for future cloud ERP transitions, if applicable. 9. Creates an environment that empowers staff to continuously develop performance improvement processes using Lean tools. Solicits input in daily operations and projects to improve all Enterprise Business Systems functions. Assists staff in developing new skills and applying them to the work place. *_Working Relationships:_* *This Job Reports To (Job Title):*ITS System Director, Enterprise Business System · *# Workers Responsible For:* o *# Direct Reports:*2 o *# In-Direct Reports:*10 *Nature of Supervision:* Has full responsibility for the Enterprise Business Systems, Finance & Supply Chain Team. Determines its long-term goals and objectives, policies and procedures. Prepares the department’s annual budget. Responsible for all personnel actions and decisions (hire/fire, performance evaluations, counseling/disciplinary, training, payroll, etc.) *Internal:*HHC Staff, Finance & Supply Chain operations *External:*Vendors, Auditors, Government Agencies *Education* · Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, Finance, or a related field. · Preferred: Master’s degree in information technology, Business, Finance, or a related field. *Experience* · Minimum: o Prior experience implementing and supporting Finance & Supply Chain ERP applications o Five (5) years’ experience of IT Management in a Finance & Supply Chain related role. · Preferred: Five (5) to Seven (7) years’ experience of IT Management in a Finance & Supply Chain related role. *Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:* · Technical Skills: Extensive experience with PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain modules.
