Directs the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

Reports to: Chief Nursing Officer

Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Required License/Certification
Licenses: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the Commonwealth of VA Board of Nursing, or Compact licensure which includes the Commonwealth of VA, and in good standing with the Board.

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days from hire

Minimum Work Experience
Minimum of two years' experience as a Case Manager in a hospital setting is strongly preferred.

Previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
