Key Responsibilities
Liaises with Inventory Planning & Replenishment Vice Presidents, SC VPs and GMMs on all merchandise planning activities, including annual plans, in season Open-to-Buy, purchase plans, allocation and productivity of inventory investments while supporting sales, margin and turn objectives for the assigned Merchandise Division(s)Lead and guide the development financial plans at a $3-$8B division inclusive of sub-division and product group plans that support company sales, turn, and margin objectives; Lead analytics and re-forecasting in-season based on current trend and historical dataLead and develop sales, margin and inventory strategies to effectively support corporate strategies, resets, promotions and all related sales/market share driving initiatives. Including managing the OTB through demand forecasting, inventory management, receipt flow, turn, and exit strategiesLead analysis of historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by division/sub-division/product group/vendor; then partner with Merchant Vice President to align financial and product opportunitiesDevelops and leads effective inventory allocation and flow strategies that support the overall Merchandise Division(s) productivity and in stock goals.Directs the execution of all seasonal and item exit strategies for assigned product categories and the In-Stock and Root Cause process, ensuring issues are addressed, corrected, and communicated to the Product Team proactivelyOversees the evaluation of results of program execution, status of plan execution, and feedback assessment from vendors, DCs, transportation, etc. to trouble-shoot for problems impacting ability to meet the designated in-store target datesIndividual Contributor
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Supply Chain/Logistics or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field) and 8-10 Years 9 Years working in planning/ supply/logistics or related fieldBusiness, Finance, Supply Chain/Logistics or related field Demonstrated experience working closely with leadership (Sr. Director and above)1-2 Years 2 Years Leadership experience with direct report responsibility5-7 Years 6 Years working in planning/ supply/logistics or related fieldBenefits
