Dir Medical Staff Credentialing
The Dir Medical Staff Credentialing is responsible for planning, developing and organizing the operations of the Medical Staff Office. Responsibilities includes the credentialing of practitioners (physicians and allied health professionals); including oversight of credentialing, privileging, bylaws and policy development, medical staff committee and peer review support, continuing medical education (CME), and compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards. The director also schedules and maintains minutes of the Medical Staff meetings; drafting the Emergency On-Call schedules; and serves as liaison between the Medical Staff, Quality Department, Administration and other Hospital Departments as deemed appropriate. Works under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer.
